Open and integrated architecture
The turn key solutions developed and realized by Sdi stand at the top of international ICSS (Integrated Control and Safety Systems) production, and integrate a combined architecture for both distributed control (DCS) and plant functional safety (ESD-PSD-F&G). Sdi’s Hardware / Software suite ensure a complete response to any plant need thanks to a seamless integration between Operation and Safety aspects, all thanks to eXPert open architecture based upon international standards which is completely interoperable with third party devices.

Each Sdi’s control system realization is finalized at two main objectives: to guarantee maximum level of reliability and integrity of the solution, at the same time respecting the most severe safety requirements.
That’s why Sdi systems natively integrates advanced redundancy management functions (hot-backup featuring a millisecond switch over), support Disaster Recovery architecture and allow the implementation of SIL-3 certified Functional Safety systems.
